CHILDREN
We reach out to young ones with the Gospel to ensure that the little souls are also won to Christ. The young ones are taught how to trust in God, how to pray, how to praise, worship, evangelize and help others.
FOUNTAIN OF HOPE CHILDRENS CENTRE was formed after God laying a heavy burden and compassion for the young generation that is suffering and perishing. It has been realized that there are very many young people who are suffering because they lost their parents because of wars, HIV/AIDS and other diseases. FOUNTAIN OF HOPE CHILDRENS CENTRE is committed to reach out and help young people of all categories including street children and orphans.
Vision: giving children opportunities to discover, exploit & maxmize their full potential & preparing them for eternity.
Mission: FOHCYC exists as an advocate for children, Teaching and loving them (Mark 10:13-16). Children are very precious to our master Jesus Christ. Showing the young people God’s love so as to deliver them from physical, social, economical and spiritual poverty.
Aims and objectives of Child Support Program (CSP)
v To bring hope to the children and ensure they grow into a responsible mature Christian adults by exposing them to Christian teachings.
v Advocating for child protection and child rights in partnership with relevant governmental institutions and agencies
v Helping children access quality education through child sponsorship and support
v Promote child health and hygiene through community sensitization programs such as creating HIV/AIDS awareness programs, Nutritional Values, Maternal health awareness and Child survival programs
v Providing a homes for the homeless and very needy children.
Methodology
FOHCYC seeks for child support through individuals, government, local and international bodies that can help such children.
Training parents and care givers on positive parenthood
Teaching parents and care givers income generating programs like improved crops, livestock and hot culture among others
ii. Fountain Of Hope Scholarship Fund (FOHSF)
Fountain of Hope Scholarship Fund (FOHSF) is a pool of fund that will give opportunity to the rural students who drop out of school mainly due to lack of school fees an opportunity to sturdy.
Vision: avail Education opportunities to the less privileged rural students.
Mission: is to see the needy students access higher level of education and becoming professionals.
Nature of scholarship
The scholarship for any child is to be for a given period of time it takes to complete a certificate, college diploma or university degree.
MINISTRY ACTIVITIES
- Equipping people with the word of God.
- Evangelizing to the communities to win souls for the kingdom of God.
- Equipping people in communities with life skills.
- Discipleship trainings & seminars.
- Leadership skills trainings & workshops.
- Establishing income generating projects for the ministry.
- Establishing income generating projects for communities.
- Establishing income saving schemes for the communities.
PROJECTS TO BE UNDERTAKEN BY LLPM
v Orphanages: homes for orphans and street children.
v Schools: designed to eradicate illiteracy among the youth. These will include primary schools, secondary schools, computer institutes, Bible schools, skills training centers and universities.
v Transport companies for example bus companies and air ways.
v Ministry development projects: Income generating projects (Poultry, piggery, agriculture & tree planting projects)
v Machines project: procuring public address systems, projectors and video cameras to help us in evangelism.
v Mission trucks project: acquisition of motor vehicles to ease transportation to the villages, towns and cities where missions are conducted.
v Ministry offices building project: establishing of ministry offices block so as to have a physical address.
v Church building project: constructing a four star shaped Glory Carriers Evangelistic Cathedral.
Weddings
The scripture teaches us that marriage is a gift from God in creation and a means of His grace, a holy mystery in which man and woman become one flesh. It is God’s purpose that as husband and wife give themselves to each other in love throughout their lives, they shall be united in that love as Christ is united with His Church.
Marriage is given, that husband and wife may conform and help each other, living faithfully together in need and plenty, in sorrow and in joy. It is given that with delight and tenderness they may know each other in love and through the joy of their bodily union may strengthen the union of their hearts and lives. It is given that they have children and be blessed in caring for them and bringing them up in accordance with God’s will, to His praise and glory.
In marriage, husband and wife belong to one another and they begin a new life together in the community. It is a way of life that should bring honour and it must not be undertaken carelessly, lightly or selfishly, but reverently, responsibly and after serious thought.
