FFAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP

RESOURCE MOBILIZATION

·        The ministry gets its resources from the tithes & offertories of its members. Malachi 3:6-12, II Chronicles 31:5-12.

·        The ministry gets it’s financial & other resources from its established businesses and sale of its publications.

·        The ministry gets its resources from its partners, donors & well wishers around the globe.

·        Above all God Almighty (Alpha & Omega) is our sole provider.

 

The members of the ministry may solicit donations and issue any public appeal with the objective of raising funds for or on behalf of the ministry and shall declare such funds to the executive committee with immediate effect.

 

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

We believe that we are stewards of God’s resources and we are committed to proper & excellent accountability, transparency and integrity.

The resources of the ministry are managed by well trained & equipped personnel called the treasurer. This person is charged with the responsibility of accounting for all the ministry funds that is both incomes & expenditures. All incomes and expenditures will always be posited in the books of accounts and entered in computers using the standard accounting packages.

All money from members, donors, partners and well-wishers is to be deposited on the organization’s account not a personal account.

Monthly financial reports will always be prepared to show how much money has been spent & how much has come in & remaining on the account.

Every month the treasurer shall submit to the Board a detailed report on the financial situation of the ministry, certified by an independent auditor appointed by the executive committee.

PLANS AND BUDGETS

The fiscal period shall be one year and shall end on 30th June of every year.

Every year the treasurer shall submit to the board:

*    The approved work plan, budget and audited financial report for the past fiscal year.

*    The draft work plan and budget for the next fiscal year.

The executive committee shall authorize an agreed amount of money in cash to be held by the treasurer and secretary to meet the day today expenses of the ministry. The treasurer and the secretary shall account to the executive committee for the use of such monies.

Signatories to the ministry account shall be:

Ø The Secretary
