THE CALL INTO THE EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY

While in high school (Old Kampala Senior Secondary School), Kissakye Edward was an active member of the scripture union fellowship and was appointed by the leading of the Holy Spirit to be the prayer secretary of the scripture union fellowship of the school.

When he joined the University, Edward became an active member of the Makerere University Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics Christian fellowship and was appointed to be the prayer secretary of I.S.A.E Fellowship.

 Kissakye Edward also served as missionary preacher in the Makerere University Bunyoro Youth Mission Team, this team at the end of every semester organizes evangelistic missions of winning souls deep in the villages.

Since 1996 to 2007, Kissakye Edward was a committed member of Christian Life Church Kampala, a church pastured by Jackson and Eve Ssenyonga and served as a life group leader in a home cell fellowship and as a worshiper in the church mass choir. In the year 2002, Edward undertook a life group leadership training course in the Christian Life Church School of leadership and was awarded a certificate of completion.

 

In the year 2000, while this young man was pleading and reasoning with God to save souls in his high school, Old Kampala Senior Secondary School, Jesus visited him in his prayer room and told him in these very clear words “But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. 2 Tim 4:5”. It is in this year 2000, that Edward was called into the ministry of soul winning and since then he has a very heavy burden for the lost and perishing souls.

In the year 2003 and 2004 when he was waiting upon God for 40 days, Jesus visited him and told him to call the soul winning ministry the “LOVE LIVES PREDESTINED MINISTRIES” and was told to form an END TIME evangelistic team called “GLORY CARRIERS EVANGELISTIC TEAM”.

The LOVE LIVES PREDESTINED MINISTRIES and the end time GLORY CARRIERS EVANGELISTIC TEAM came into existence in the year 2003.

Since 2003, a number of evangelist missions have been organized and carried out by this ministry deep in the villages of Uganda and Kenya.

Kissakye Edward believes that in these last days, the heart beat and heart cry of Jehovah God Almighty is the lost and perishing souls.

This young man has zeal and burden to preach the Gospel and win more    souls into the kingdom of God Almighty and His Son Jesus Christ.

HIS TESTIMONY

This young man has gone through many sufferings; first of all he was rejected by his father till the age of thirteen in 1996, when his father had accepted him as his son, he passed away in 1997. When his father died, he went and began staying with his maternal aunt but the husband of his aunt rejected him and he went and stayed with his mother in a wretched house were he used to read books for his final exams of O-Level on a local candle that produces a lot of soot and used to ride a bicycle eight miles to school and sometimes footed to school and back home when the bicycle was spoiled. In 2005, his pertanal aunt invited him to stay with him and during his stay with her; he was mistreated to the point of not allowing him to read books for his final exams of A-Level and he used to walk seven miles to school and back. Her aunt did every possible to ensure that he fails his A-Level exams but Jehovah God Most High fought for the young man and he excelled in his final exams and was admitted in Makerere University on government sponsorship.

This young man says that through all the hardships he went through, he learnt how to trust and depend on God entirely and he thanks God so much for having allowed him to go through those very terrible times because they enabled him to know God more and more. For him he says that it’s the hard situations that draw us closer and closer to God. And it’s through this University of hard knocks that God trains his genuine servants for the great work ahead of them.

Kissakye Edward says that since his childhood, he befriended God and made him both his earthly and heavenly father and he says that he has seen great and wonderful things happening to him, because always in time of need he used to turn to his Father God.

This young man has been branded revivalist by the Holy Spirit and is a re-known crusade preacher and conference speaker. He has preached on many crusades in Uganda and Kenya and has taught God’s word in many conferences.

Young people who have attended his youth conferences have always left when their too much inspired by the divine and revelational teachings of wisdom and insight and the way he demonstrates the power of the Holy Spirit. He is a young man who is so much in love with the Holy Spirit and he says that in this rotten generation believers need to develop a deeper and closer relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Every meeting he has organized or has been called to minister into, he has always left the sick healed, the blind seeing, the deaf hearing, the lame walking, demon possessed and oppressed free and very many filled with the Holy Spirit and praising God in the  Angelic tongues of heaven.

In every village, this young man has held a crusade, seminar , conference or convention, he has always left a mark of revival and people’s hearts set on fire to seek God for more of his divine presence and Holy Spirit in their lives.

God spoke to him clearly that He will always honor his meetings with His Divine Presence and he further told him that whenever he will worship, His presence will always descend to heal, deliver, change and transform lives of people. This young man values worship so much because through worship sessions, he has seen HIV/AIDS, cancer, sinuses, and other infirmities healed and very many get their deliverance through worship.

On many occasions, Jesus has visited this young man and instructed him that the task is great and he must accomplish the assignment before leaving planet earth and Jesus told him that the time is extremely very short. In the year 2004, in a trance, his spirit was removed from his body and carried to heaven. On reaching there, the place was so beautiful and books were lying on a very huge table. The Angels asked for his name and the book of life was opened and his name was found jotted in the Lambs book of life. One of the Angels told him to enter into the exceedingly beautiful city of God. But as he was almost going through the gate, Jesus called him back to the entrance and told him to go back on earth to accomplish the task of winning souls and he was promised to be brought back to that exact place if he does the work he is been sent to do faithfully.

 

Kissakye Edward is the vision bearer, founder and director of LOVE LIVES PREDESTINED MINISTRIES and GLORY CARRIERS EVANGELISTIC TEAM. Currently this ministry is operating in Northern Uganda, a region that has been affected for over twenty years by war and poverty in order to bring and restore hope in the lives of the existing adults and young people. Its offices are located in Pader district.

 The vision of the ministry is to win souls and point them to the cross. And its mission is to reach the unreached with the saving gospel of Jesus Christ.

MISSIONS CONDUCTED BY LOVE LIVES PREDESTINED MINISTRIES

1.     ONE WEEK MISSION CONDUCTED IN BARINYANG TORORO DISTRICT UGANDA 2003

This mission comprised of seminars and crusades.

People from all over the four corners of the village attended the seminars and were taught the word of God. Very many were prayed for and got their healing and deliverances from sicknesses and diseases. Very many were filled with the Holy Spirit and began praising the Lord in the heavenly tongues.

During the crusades hundreds surrendered their lives to Christ and very many drunkards were set free from this very terrible bondage.

On one crusade, some drunkards began disrupting the activities and the power of God descended down and hit them and they began vomiting the alcohol they had taken and when they gained their conscious back, they gave their lives to Christ.

Another testimony about this mission is that on one of the crusades, a witch came purposely to disrupt the activities, but the power of the Holy Spirit descended and hit the witch and all his evil spirits began to shout aloud while vacating his body.

Very many in this village surrendered their witchcraft and were set free. The entire village was set free from the captivity of the devil and the people were filled with joy from the presence of God.

During the evaluation of the mission activities, young men and women thanked Kissakye Edward for having visited their village because their lives, studies, and families were totally transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

 

 

2.     ONE WEEK MISSION IN BUSHIR KAKAMEGA KENYA. 2006

This mission was characterized by seminars and crusades.

The seminars were attended by very many young people and were characterized by the abundance of God’s presence and His Holy Spirit. Very many youth who attended these seminars were very hungry and thirst for God and very many were filled with the Holy Spirit and His divine presence.

These meetings were characterized by deep worship and during these sessions, the Spirit of God was so abundant and very many who were oppressed by the devil were set free.

Hundreds accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior during the seminars and the crusades.

The youth who attended this mission, thanked God for His divine visitation in their lives, families, village and church.

3.     ONE WEEK MISSION IN BUTOTE AND KUBBO BUSIA DISTRICT UGANDA. 2004

During this mission, hundreds flocked in the conferences to be taught the word of God. Very many in these villages were fed up of witchcraft and they chose to surrender their lives to Jesus and they were all delivered from all sorts of demonic oppressions and very many were healed of chronic sicknesses, infirmities and diseases.

Hundreds in these villages especially those who were wasting their living in alcoholism and witch craft made a dynamic decision and surrendered their lives to the Alpha and Omega, Jesus Christ.

Hundreds of miracles of healing and deliverance were performed in the lives of many people in these villages.

4.     ONE WEEK MISSION IN KITALE DISTRRICT OF KENYA. 2007

This was a youth conference and over 1500 young people attended the one week mega event.

The youth who attended this mission had a hunger and a desire for more of God.

Divine teachings full of insight and revelation were given to the hungry youth and the power of God demonstrated. Very many youth who had lost their hope were encouraged and uplifted.

During this event, very many youth were filled with the Holy Spirit and those with chronic and generational sicknesses and curses were set free. Divine miracles happened in the lives of very many young people.

5.     ONE WEEK MISSION IN FORTPOTAL UGANDA. 2008

This mission was a rare one in that, the church and the entire village was found bound by the forces of evil.

The first days of the mission were very hard in that their was no spiritual breakthrough and people were not responding to the gospel but through serious intercession, a spiritual breakthrough was attained on Friday and on that same day hundreds of people accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

On this same Friday crusade, drunkards were disrupting the activities, and the power of God was called down and hit them, they vomited their alcohol and after regaining their conscious, they surrendered their lives to Christ.

Hundreds of oppressed and diseased people were healed and delivered. And the joy of the Lord Jesus filled their hearts.

On Sunday evening hundreds were taken to the spring to be baptized and in the process, the Spirit of God descended down and many people who attended this service were filled with the Holy Spirit.

 

6.     ONE WEEK MISION IN ASINGET VILLAGE TORORO, UGANDA. 2008

This place was found bound by witch craft and people in this region had their belief in magic demonic powers.

Crusade and seminars in this place tremendously changed the trend of things, in that people, who used to spend most of their time drinking and consulting evil spirits, surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ the Price of Peace.

Young men and women who were dedicated by their parents into demonic worship, were set free as soon as they heard the gospel of peace and accepted it. Very many who had chronic illnesses were totally healed.

In this village Jehovah God performed wonderful miracles through His Son Jesus Christ in the lives of very many people.

God visited His people in this land and many began singing new heavenly songs in the languages of Heavenly Angels.

 

 

7.     ONE WEEK MISSION IN KIGUMBA, MASINDI DISTRICT, UGANDA. 2008

This was a unique mission, in that very many people were under the evil bondage of religion.

It was realized that the biggest bondage that has left many in sickness and blindness is religion and it’s religion that is taking millions of people to hell.

People in this region, were attending the religious churches but were very sick, oppressed, blind and hopeless.

Kigumba is a region that is known in the whole of Uganda as a place infiltrated with witch craft and people in this region were trusting and worshiping small gods.

This mission was described by very many people as one designed by God in order to bring light, hope, healing and deliverance into their lives.

During this mega event, very many people accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Many who were under demonic bondage ere set free and very many got their healing from their various sicknesses and diseases.

One lady by the names of Filder who had sinuses and couldn’t smell for over six years was healed instantly. The same lady who had suffered from HIV/AIDS for over eleven years was healed and when she tested again for a number of times, she found out she had been healed.

 

                                ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Kissakye Edward is very grateful to Jehovah God Almighty for this far He has brought him. He thanks God so much for calling and choosing him to be part of the great end time gospel army.

All the challenges, he has gone through, Kissakye Says they have been for his spiritual training for the big task that is ahead of him. He says that it’s these tough and tight times that have taught him to depend entirely on God. He says he has learnt how to trust God, seek God and worship God through these times of turmoil’s.

Kissakye Edward says that the scripture in Zechariah 4:6, 10 has been real in his life. All the spiritual and physical success, he has so far achieved, accrues it to his father Jehovah God.

He thanks God the Holy Spirit so much for being his best and closet friend as indicated in Proverbs 18:24.

​​I was born in 1983 in a small town called Mityana in Uganda, East-Africa. I was brought up by my mother Florence Namusisi and maternal grandmother Margret Mulungi. At the age of two years in 1985, my mother and grandmother surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. And at the age of six years in 1989, I too accepted Jesus to be my personal Lord and Savior. I became a very active participant and member of Sunday school in Mityana Miracle Centre Church, a Church pastured by Pastor Johnson Makumbi. Sunday school impacted my life, that even though I was of a tender age, I used to always feel and experience the supernatural touch and presence of Jesus in my life and this always compelled me to weep and wail throughout the services. The journey of salvation hasn’t been an easy one. I have experienced very many ups and downs but it has taken me persistence, determination and focus to stand amidst all the terrible forces of negation.
